Made you blink, didn't I! But seriously, what adult wouldn't like to super-size a Lundby doll's house and move into it themselves? Lundby don't just make houses for dolls, their creations reflect contemporary life and design down to the finest details.

The first Lundby doll's house was launched in Sweden in 1945 by Danish couple Axel and Grete Thomsen, and that original house, originally named the ‘Gothenburg', has now been renamed Småland and revamped to modern standards by Stockholm architect duo Ann Morsing and Beban Nord, of Box Design. This modular home can be easily extended with an optional add-on section to expand the space.

Morsing and Nord are also responsible for the eyepopping design and decoration of the Lundby Stockholm house. Featuring stunning architecture encompassing a modern open-plan layout, state-of-the-art details include a pull-out drawer with pool (that is functional: fill it with water and let your doll family enjoy a dip!), pull-down acrylic doors in front of all rooms, sliding bedroom doors, sundecks, spa bath, hot tub, plasma TV, sofa bed and specially commisioned paintings by artist Lisa Rinnevuo.

Lundby's latest release is the Gotland house, also archictected by Box Design. Gotland is a ‘holiday house',  perfect as a starter house, or portable house. The Gotland offers five indoor/outdoor play areas, including a veggie patch, outdoor shower and amenities. The functionality of the house is unique in that it's smaller size as a dollhouse reflects the space considerations that we have in smaller real-life houses: the kitchen table folds away to provide more space and the back of the table also functions as a dart board, plus the bed can be folded away against the wall and secured with a magnetic clip. Now that's clever! When can I move in?
