Why join?
For you our Affiliate Program enables you to earn money from your website by setting links to Lundby.com.au and encouraging your visitors to buy from our store. As an affiliate you will earn up to 10% commission on every sale (excluding P&P) you generate through your referrals.
How does the Lundby.com.au affiliate program work?
It's simple really. We will provide a variety of adverts for you to cut & paste onto your web site. You choose which ones you want to use and where on your site to put them. When visitors come to your site and click on one of the ads they end up at our site. If they buy something, then you will be paid up to 10% of whatever they spend. (excluding P&P).
Cookie Length
If a person comes to our site from yours, we set a counter on their computer, this is called "a cookie". This remains on their computer for 90† days, if during this time they return to Lundby.com.au and make a purchase you will earn a commission even if they do not come directly via your web site next time.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. It is free to join the Lundby.com.au Affiliate Program, and you can cancel at any time.
Is my site eligible to become an Lundby.com.au affiliate?
With very few exceptions, yes. We reserve the right to refuse affiliate partnership to any site containing objectionable material, including pornography, explicit language or content, gambling or support for violent or discriminatory groups.
Can I link my site to Lundby.com.au and to other stores at the same time?
Yes, no problem - what you do with your site is your business and we won't try to control any aspect of it.
Do I have to build an online store?
No, the links on your site will link directly to Lundby.com.au. Once a customer clicks on the link, your job is done - we deal with everything after that (taking payment, delivery etc).
Setting Up Links
How do I create links to Lundby.com.au?
Once your site has been approved, log in to our Members Area and select the adverts that you would like to use. You can add as many or as few as you like to your site. Adding the link is a straightforward case of "copy & paste" but if you need any help, all you need to do is ask.
Can I make my own Lundby.com.au adverts?
Yes, but due to the way our stats calculate banner views, we must host the banner on our server. Therefore any banner you make must be submitted to us before it can be used.
What are my responsibilities as a Lundby.com.au affiliate?
You are responsible for using the Members Area to choose links and place them on your site. We dont expect anything else of you (ie: no sales "targets" etc). We value you as an affiliate regardless of whether you are referring 1 customer a month or 1000 customers a month.
What are Lundby.com.au responsibilities?
We will provide you with the tools and support you need to establish yourself as an affiliate. We also handle orders, delivery, billing, customer care, and sales reporting. We will also make sure you get your commission payments.
Can I take orders on my site and send the information to Lundby.com.au?
No. We will process all orders directly.
Tracking and Payment
How are orders tracked and credited to my website?
All links from your website to Lundby.com.au contain your unique source ID. Every time a customer comes to Lundby.com.au via your site and makes a purchase, we will know to credit your site. The sales are tracked using well tested software which is part of the osCommerce package that we use to run our entire store.
How much will I be paid?
- Standard Tier 2% of sales up to $999 a month.
- Gold Tier 5% of sales up to $4999 a month.
- Diamond Tier is 10% of sales over $5000 a month.
Payments are made on final sales††.
When and how will I be paid?
We make our commission payments at the beginning of every month. If your earnings have reached $50.00 we will send you a cheque. If your earnings have not reached $50.00 we will carry them over to the next month. There is no time limit on reaching $50.00 earnings.
How will I monitor my sales?
Reports are generated in real-time. You can access them anytime by logging in to your account. These reports give you a variety of information, including how many customers linked to Lundby.com.au from your site, and how much your site has earned in commission.
I operate more than one website. Can you track them separately?
We would rather that you used the same user id for all your sites, but if you really would prefer to track them individually, then please let us know and we will set up a separate id for each site.
† The cookie can be read for a period of 90 days providing that the person referred has cookies turned "on" in their web browser & the person referred does not delete the cookie from their system.
††A "final" sale is one where an order has been placed, payment received, the goods dispatched and a 30 day period to allow for returns has elapsed. If someone comes to our site via yours and does not purchase anything on that visit, you will still get the commission if they come back and buy an item within 90 days†.
